Elayne Knottenbelt
Dr Elayne Knottenbelt did her medical degree in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and qualified in haematopathology at the University of Cape Town. She has been a consultant in Palmerston North ,New Zealand for over thirty years. She still finds haematology interesting and challenging with respect to diagnosis and management and with increasing complexity due to technological and treatment advances. Her special interest remains morphology .
