Jacques Malherbe

Dr. Jacques Malherbe is a current Basic Physician Trainee (BPT) based at St John of God Hospital in Subiaco, Western Australia. He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) with distinction in 2017 at the University of Western Australia and has been working as a Junior Medical Officer with the North Metropolitan Health Service in Western Australia since 2018. Dr. Malherbe holds a current Adjunct Research Fellow appointment with the University of Western Australia and has been actively undertaking translational research into haematological malignancies since 2013 through his affiliation with the Translational Cancer Pathology Laboratory located at the University of Western Australia. He has published several first author papers in the fields of translational haematology and myeloproliferative neoplasms. His research interests include megakaryocyte biology and pathology, myeloproliferative neoplasm pathology and diagnostics, normal marrow haematopoiesis and the translational application of digital enumeration technology to advance haematology diagnostics.
