Matthew Wright
Matt is a clinician and Pathologist at Fiona Stanley Hospital and Perth, and Head of Department. He is currently a national examiner for the Royal College of Pathologists and the Royal College of Physicians. His clinical interests are myeloid diseases and myeloma. Matt has a special interest in pathology teaching which saw him develop the UWA short course in Haematopathology. This course, run with Dr Jill Finlayson, Prof Wendy Erber and colleagues, is now into its 9th successful year attracting candidates from Australia and the region.
Building on this platform, Matt hopes to present an online Introduction to Morphology course that would be particularly suited to Indian Ocean Rim nations.
