Azizon Othman

Azizon Othman is a Haematologist in the Ministry of Health, Malaysia since 1995. She has worked in several hospitals and currently is the Head of Department of Pathology and Consultant Haematologist in Hospital Langkawi. Her main interest is in Thalassemia, Quality, Laboratory Management and Accreditation. She is currently the Technical Auditor for ISO 15189. Her previous appointments include the Head of Haematology Activity Service MOH, Committee Members of National Specialist Registry, Pathology HOD HTJS, Examiner of Part II MPath (Haematology), Visiting Lecturer of CUCMS and Honorary Senior Lecturer of IMU. She has authored and co-authored several papers locally and internationally. However, her biggest passion currently is book writing. She writes on different genre and has produced the popular Made Easy Haematology series.
